Software Versions
Trading and charting software update their current versions quite often, either to add new features, or to correct a problem with a previous version. Three of the most popular trading and charting software have recently updated their versions, so it is a good time to consider upgrading.
Interactive Brokers' Trader Workstation (TWS) has recently been upgraded to version 878. The new version of TWS includes several bug fixes, and several new or redesigned features. Note that TWS comes in both a standalone and a web browser version, but day traders should always use the standalone version, because it is faster and more reliable (two important considerations for any Java based software). Version 878 of TWS can be downloaded from Interactive Brokers' web site, and can be installed directly over the previous version.
Sierra Chart has recently upgraded to version 228. Sierra Chart's new version includes several bug fixes, and several new features. Version 228 of Sierra Chart can be downloaded from the Sierra Chart web site, and can be installed directly over the previous version, and all of your previous settings will be maintained.
TradeStation has recently upgraded to version 8.3. The new version of TradeStation includes the ability to test forex and fundamental trading systems. Version 8.3 of TradeStation can only be downloaded once you have setup a TradeStation account (using your account username and password).
Note that both Trader Workstation and Sierra Chart provide the option of downgrading to their previous versions, which is a nice option to have available, if you decide that you prefer the previous version, or the new version does not work as expected.

I will take a look at Quotetracker, and will probably add a review to the day trading site.
