Options Trading - An Introduction to Options

Friday November 9, 2007

As options markets are the least understood day trading markets, I am going to provide an options trading course covering everything from options basics (such as what options are), to options strategies (such as bull put spreads), to the greeks (the options greeks, not the European Greeks).

The course will be suitable for complete options beginners who have some trading knowledge (such as those who have read my basic trading articles) and are looking for a complete options tutorial, and also for experienced options traders who are looking for new options strategies.

The first section of the options course, called An Introduction to Options, is a basic guide to options that will provide the information necessary to understand the various options strategies. The introduction consists of several articles which are available in the options section of the day trading site, and as shown below :

If you have any questions about any of the information presented in the first section, leave a comment in the blog, and I will be glad to provide an additional explanation.

I am a novice at day trading but I have been having successful results (over 2% per trade) with a system developed by Tradefortuna http://www.tradefortuna.com.
