I have recently read Short Term Trading Strategies That Work, and I have subsequently written a full review of the book. There are so many trading books available (many of which are useless), that it is difficult for new traders (and even professional traders) to know which trading books are worth reading. With repect to all trading books, I suggest that you absolutly must be the quantitative “Creator” of the strategy in order to follow it through the inevitable times of drawdown and adversity. If it is someone elses creation then you must test it and try to disprove it in order to trust it. Get yourself a testing package (Amibroker pro is very inexpensive) and some high quality historical data like that which is offered by firms like these www.ForexTickData.com and start your journey.
