Double Moving Average Bounce Trades

Tuesday December 9, 2008

I recently received a request for some more examples of double moving average bounce trades, so the following are charts of a couple of trades that occured within the last week.

Double Moving Average Bounce Trade

The chart shown above (click on the chart to view it in full size) shows a long trade on the Nasdaq 100 stock index (which would be traded on the NQ futures market). The chart shows all of the required elements of the double moving average bounce trading system (the crossover, the bounce, and the entry bar). The trade's entry is indicated by the white price bar, and the entry price is shown on the chart.

The chart shown above (click on the chart to view it in full size) shows a long trade on the FTSE 100 stock index (which would be traded on the Z futures market). The chart shows all of the required elements of the double moving average bounce trading system (the crossover, the bounce, and the entry bar). The trade's entry is indicated by the white price bar, and the entry price is shown on the chart.

If you are not yet familiar with the double moving average bounce trading system, a complete explanation is available in the double moving average bounce tutorial.

(1) Paul Chr. Feitz says:

Thanks again Adam.

Adam, about the Pivot Bounce trading strategy I have a question about an example of today which I haven’t traded this morning in the Netherlands. I would like to discuss this with you, because I think I made a mistake about the interpretation of the said strategy. I was in doubt this morning Adam, so I didn’t trade it, which is according to my knowledge the best idea for surviving the markets. Would that it be possible to send a message with some attachments to you?

Also thanks about the review of the book mentioned earlier.

Paul
