Economic Calendar With Volatility
This week's economic calendar includes many news releases from Europe, and several news releases from the US and Asia. The US has most of the high volatility news releases this week, but very closely followed by Europe and Asia with a few high volatility news releases. The US and European markets would normally experience some decent price movement throughout the week, but due to the continuing short trade prohibitions the price movement will not be normal (i.e. not according to market dynamics). The Asian markets should experience their usual volatility and price movement throughout the week.
The US, European, and Asian news releases for this week are as follows (all times are Greenwich Mean Time, which is 2 hours behind Central European Time, and 4 hours ahead of US Eastern Time) :
US
- Monday : PCE Price Index, Personal Spending, and Personal Income at 12:30 PM
- Tuesday : HPI at 1:00 PM, PMI at 1:45 PM, and Consumer Confidence at 2:00 PM
- Wednesday : Job Cuts at 11:30 AM, Non Farm Employment Change at 12:15 PM, PMI Manufacturing, Construction Spending, and Manufacturing Prices at 2:00 PM, and Oil Inventories at 2:35 PM
- Thursday : Unemployment Claims at 12:30 PM, Factory Orders at 2:30 PM, and Natural Gas Storage at 2:35 PM
- Friday : Non Farm Employment Change, Employment Rate, and Average Hourly Earnings at 12:30 PM, and PMI Non Manufacturing at 2:00 PM
