The BFX futures market is based upon the BEL20 stock index, which is the primary stock index of Euronext Brussels in Belgium. The BEL20 stock index consists of a minimum of ten and a maximum of twenty companies, that are traded on the Brussels stock exchange, and that represent the diversity of the Belgian stock market. The BEL20 stock index is calculated in real time, and the BFX futures market is traded on the Euronext electronic trading system from 9:00 AM to 5:35 PM Central European Time.
