The HHI futures market is based upon the Hang Seng China Enterprises stock index, which is one of the stock indicies of HKEX (Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing) in Hong Kong. The Hang Seng China Enterprises index consists of Chinese companies whose shares are issued in China but are traded in Hong Kong. The index is calculated using prices of the 9 (as of November 2008) capitalization weighted companies, and the HHI futures market is traded on the HKFE (Hong Kong Futures Exchange) from 9:45 AM to 12:30 AM, and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM Hong Kong Time.
